VISIT MURCHISON FALLS
The Magnificent Murchison Falls are a jewel in the captivating landscapes featured on the Nile. They are one of the world’s most popular and spectacular waterfalls, not for height or water volume but on account of their beauty and power. Murchison Falls National Park makes for a spectacular safari that offers up three great ways to observe and enjoy the wildlife; game drives in vehicles, the famed boat cruise that leads up to the base of the falls, and more recently by hot-air balloon.

 

DISCOVER BWINDI FOREST
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is most famously known as the home of half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and is one of the most visited parks in Uganda. The park is a dense primeval forest located in the remote southwest of Uganda, on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley across from the DRC. The oldest and most biologically diverse rainforest in Africa, Bwindi is a well-preserved slice of nature that has remained largely undisturbed to date.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Lake Mburo is sculptured landscape ranges from rolling hills and rocky outcrops, to grassy valleys, tranquil lakeshores and swamps that together support an extensive biodiversity of 68 mammals. Wetland habitats comprise 20% of the park’s surface and Lake Mburo, the largest of the five lakes found inside the park is part of a 50km-long wetland system that is linked by swamps. Unique to Lake Mburo National Park is the availability of both horseback and quad bike safaris, which allow for closer viewing and exceptional photographs of the abundant plains game.

KIBALE FOREST – PRIMATES NATIONAL PARK
Kibale Forest National Park is the best primate park in Africa. It has two notable distinctions that make it a superb safari destination in Uganda. First, the park has one of the highest diversity and concentration of primates in any habitat in Africa – a record 13 species. Second, it is home to a prolific 320 bird species including four that have not been recorded in any other park in Uganda.

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK HOME OF THE TREE-CLIMING LIONS
The park which has the highest number of both mammal species (96) and birds (619) of any Ugandan national park, is divided into 3 sectors: Mweya Peninsula the hub for tourist activity, Kyambura Gorge to the east of Mweya and Ishasha in the remote southwest. The park’s wide savannahs, wetlands and lush lowland forests are inhabited by a diverse spectrum of wildlife; in the Ishasha plains to the south west, the famous tree-climbing lions are the star attraction and in the breathtaking Kyambura Gorge, habituated chimpanzees steal the show. The Mweya peninsula and the Kasenyi plains provide, visitors with the most chance of seeing game when they visit. Queen Elizabeth National Park has big game in abundance.
